About Energy Psychology / Splankna Therapy
In addition to traditional forms of talk therapy, mind-body work has been effective in releasing and healing some emotional traumas. Three of these styles of energy work, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Thought Field Therapy, and E.M.D.R., have been incorporated into a protocol founded on a Christian theology that offers a holistic approach to emotional healing.
Splankna Therapy provides a straightforward, mechanistic treatment procedure for alleviating a wide range of psychological and physical symptoms through both a Healing Protocol and a Creative Protocol. It attempts to address symptoms comprehensively, attending to the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the problem and its solution.
I am a master practitioner of Splankna and incorporate this therapy frequently and upon request into my overall approach to counseling.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic process that helps people heal from the emotional distress and behavioral symptoms that result from overwhelming life experiences. Horrors from the battlefield or from sexual assault, as well as painful experiences that have negatively impacted personal worth and agency, are all treated with remarkable success with this protocol. Both those diagnosed with simple PTSD (survivors of circumscribed traumatic events) and Complex PTSD (survivors of prolonged, repeated trauma) find EMDR sessions to be helpful in reducing or resolving intrusive memories and offering the ability to live with intentionality and satisfaction.
